LA PLAGNE PISTE GUIDES

Grande Rochette Bridge piste

A short but busy blue into Plagne Centre that feels like part of Mira or Ramy — packed with traffic, sidehits and ski school chaos in peak weeks

Bridge piste

A short link run above Plagne Centre that most riders treat as part of Mira or Ramy

Bridge piste: The area around the top of the Aollets poma is flat and wide open, with runs crisscrossing in every direction. Of these, Bridge will more than likely feel like part of the longer Mira blue or Ramy blue runs, though it’s marked as a separate piste.

Most skiers and snowboarders taking Mira back down to Plagne Centre end up on Bridge because it feels like the most natural extension of that main run.

GRANDE ROCHETTE ROUTES

Bridge route

A key link into Plagne Centre from Villages, Soleil and Bellecôte — busy, chopped up and full of stop-start traffic in peak weeks

La Plagne intermediate piste Bridge: Bridge gets very busy, particularly over holiday periods, because it forms part of the main route into Plagne Centre from Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil (via the Bergerie chair) and from Plagne Bellecôte (via the Colosses chair).

If tricks are your thing, look out for the natural quarter pipes near the turning at the bottom as you funnel into Centre.

SKI INSURANCE

Heading into unfamiliar terrain?

Proper ski insurance matters more than most people realise.

Quick tip: Even straightforward pistes can change quickly with weather, visibility and traffic. Good cover means lift evacuation, medical help and rescue costs are handled if something goes wrong — which in the Alps can otherwise be expensive.

If you haven’t sorted cover yet, it’s worth doing before your trip.
