La Plagne’s Le Bonnet bar and eaterie is located just above the main hub of lifts at the base of the Plagne Bellecôte pistes. This makes it very convenient if you’re staying in Plagne Bellecôte or Belle Plagne.

Affiliations: La Plagne 360 works with industry-leading suppliers to bring you the best services. If you click on these links, in many cases we will receive a tiny commission at no cost to you. AND, most of the time, you'll receive a deal. Win/Win! We only feature products we have used and believe in.

However, if you’re staying in other areas like Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800, Plagne Soleil or Plagne Villages you’ll need to leave the party early to make sure you catch the last Colosses chair back into these sectors.

The lift closure times vary through the season (as does the weight of traffic on this lift). However, you should be able to factor in waiting times by keeping an eye on the queues. If not, you’ll be looking at a bus ride from Bellecôte to get back to your accommodation.

Taking any piste (or combination of pistes) in the Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio sector will eventually lead you down to Le Bonnet as all runs converge here eventually at the base hub.

The aprés at Le Bonnet varies through the season, with live bands playing frequently (particularly as the days get longer). It also has the advantage of having great burgers and fast-food type snacks available all day.

Drinks are reasonably priced (by La Plagne prices anyway) and there’s almost always a good atmosphere from around 3pm onwards. The only drawback is the sun sets quite early behind the Colosses ridge, meaning it gets colder quicker here.

Those staying in Plage Bellecôte just have a simple, short run to get back home while those in Belle Plagne can link up with the Belle Plagne gondola. However, for those staying further afield, bear in mind you’ll still have to ski or snowboard to get back – albeit on pretty tame, short blue pistes.
