The majority of La Plagne’s slower fixed-grip TSF chairlifts serve mostly beginner areas or are used for accessing different parts of the resort – meaning skiers and snowboarders only really need to ride them once to get around the various sectors of the resort. For beginner riders, the very slow Boulevard chairlift above Plagne 1800 and below Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil gives access to the perfect beginner zone (as well as Plagne Centre), removing the all-too-common fear of lift accidents on the way back up.
