Accommodation in Plagne Soleil is mostly chalets, apartments and hotels. There isn’t much in the way of apres here. Indeed, if nightlife in La Plagne is your thing, you may be disappointed here as there’s only really Monica’s restaurant and bar that stay open even relatively late. That said, if your focus on a ski holiday is more on your riding, Plagne Soleil could be a good choice with hugely convenient skiing and snowboarding. There is also a regular shuttle bus to visit other stations. You should also be aware, there are no ATMs in Plagne Soleil so take cash or a credit / debit card.
If you’re staying in Plagne Soleil, Monica’s restaurant and bar will likely become your regular haunt. While there are a handful of other bars and restaurants, much of the entertainment here is low-key. As a tip for anyone staying here, either get up early and avoid the inevitable queues on the Bergerie lift or take the Dou du Praz drag lift to gain access to the Bellecôte sector. Alternatively, you could also ride to Plagne 1800 and take the lifts from there – or ride down to the Boulevard lift to access Plagne Centre.
La Plagne offers a regular bus service between the main stations at night – so a trip to Plagne Centre or the other villages is always possible if you tire of the local scene.
See the Plagne Soleil pistes and Plagne Soleil lifts – in the Grande Rochette sector – or check the 3D map of La Plagne.
