Plagne Villages has very little in the way of night-time entertainment. However, if convenience skiing or snowboarding is your priority, then you’ll be ok. Otherwise, staying here frequently involves a trek down the Écartée piste to Plagne Soleil or taking the shuttle bus. Even if you decide to buy food and drink for your apartment, the supermarket is located at the bottom of the resort which can mean a long hike. While walking up or down to Plagne Centre is possible, remember it takes considerably longer than on skis and isn’t advisable after a few beers. Check our YouTube channel for more info.
The majority of Plagne Villages accommodation looks directly onto the Mira piste which provides a convenient route down to the main hub of lifts in Plagne Centre. Alternatively, it is also possible to catch the Aollets poma to link into the plethora of runs that lead to the Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio sector.
As for nightlife, you’re going to be at the mercy of the rather erratic bus service that runs between Plagne Centre, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Villages – but it stops quite early. If you want a quiet holiday or have kids with you, Plagne Villages might be a good choice. One saving grace is its proximity to the Bergerie apres-ski bar.
