The Montchavin lift Coches is no more than an access lift out of the far end of Montchavin village up to the higher village of Les Coches where you can ride down to catch either the Lac Noir gondola or Plan Bois chair to access the higher areas and the Montchavin pistes. Note, if you don’t fancy the Mont Blanc blue or Montchavin red, this lift can also be used for downloading too.

Pros
  • Open in all weather
  • Village > main area lifts 3 mins
  • Fast access out of main Montchavin town
Cons
  • Very busy early morning
