Plagne Bellecôte piste Belle Plagne to Bellecôte

New-Project-80-1200x675.jpg

If you’re staying in Belle Plagne, you have two options for getting down to Plagne Bellecôte (and the main point of uplift): either take the lower section of the Belle Plagne piste or walk through the village to join the last stretch of the Arpette blue piste. As the highest concentration of apartments is at the top end of the village, most people will take the Belle Plagne route.

The Belle Plagne piste actually starts much higher up at an intersection with the Blanchets blue piste but this is the route most people will take. There are a number of passages possible through the village which all funnel into the main run under the Belle Plagne gondola. The run leads directly down to the Front de Neiges of Bellecôte where you’ll find the Colosses, Arpette and Blanchets chairs as well as the base station of the Belle Plagne / Roche de Mio gondola. Also, there’s a small beginner area (Ourson) nearby, served by a magic carpet of the same name.

Pros
  • Wide piste
  • Very fast
  • Main run between Belle Plagne & Bellecôte
Cons
  • Gets very busy
  • Long flat near Bellecôte
  • Be wary of other out of control riders
