Just like the lift of the same name which it runs under, the Quillis piste is very much just a link, providing access between Plagne Bellecôte / Belle Plagne and the Champagny sector. At times, it can get horrendously busy as riders make their way from one sector to another (primarily at the start and end of the day – though the run, in particular, can be busy any time). Skiers and snowboarders access this run from the top of the Blanchets chair out of Belle Plagne.

The piste starts with a short flat section before dropping away about halfway down as it crosses under the chair. Depending on the time of day, the moguls here can get big due to the amount of traffic this piste sees. You’ll want to try and ride the bottom as fast as possible in order to have enough speed to get over the flat section to reach either the Carella chair or the Champagny section of the Levasset piste.

Pros
  • Very short link run
  • Links Belle Plagne with Champagny
Cons
  • Very long flat at bottom
  • Gets scraped through traffic
  • Gets mogulled quickly
  • Safety fences at bottom mean you’ll probably end up walking
