The green Plagne Montalbert piste Grenouilles run is located at the top of Fornelet, high above Montalbert near the top of the Adrets chair. It is one of La Plagne’s best beginner areas and allows even the most novice rider the chance to learn high up the mountain rather than having to stick the village runs.

This short piste is on a very shallow gradient and runs alongside the slow, fixed-pole Grenouilles drag lift. This allows beginners a very easy ride back up. Best of all, the piste is located very near the new 360 restaurant – the perfect place to relax after a morning’s lessons – and, when the day’s over, it’s an easy ride back to Plagne Montalbert village in the super-fast Montalbert gondola.

Pros
  • Great beginner run
  • High with great views
  • Usually quiet
  • Near to 360 restaurant
  • More sun than lower runs
  • Beginners will enjoy being higher up
Cons
  • Can get busy in holiday periods
