The Champagny piste Éterlou blue run is a short piste that snakes down a shallow gradient just to the right of the Éterlou drag lift. It will keep beginner or very early intermediate riders entertained for a while but, with improving skills, most riders will probably want to progress onto the more interesting runs just a little higher up – ie those accessed from the Rossa chair.

This area has the advantage of letting beginners feel like they’re exploring the higher reaches of the mountain while also staying close to the gondola back home and having the convenience of a restaurant nearby.

Pros
  • Great for beginners
  • Interesting route
  • Normally quiet
  • Quite long
  • Served by easy poma
  • Incredible scenery
Cons
  • Only one route down
  • Better runs nearby
  • Only good for beginners
