The Grande Rochette piste Baby run is a perfect beginner’s area located just above the Front de Neige in Plagne Centre. The run is served by the slow, fixed pole drag lift Télébaby – perfect for those first-day ski or snowboard lessons. Best of all, this run is close to all of the main amenities and accommodation in Plagne Centre, meaning taking a break is easy.

The Télébaby can also be used to cut out the walk from the Becoin side of the Centre bowl back to the Boulevard green run. Just take a short walk at the top and you’ll be able to ride down past the Funiplagne onto the France and Boulevard pistes.

Pros
  • Good beginner gradient
  • Close to Plagne Centre
  • Close to bars, cafes etc
  • Great beginner run served by equally easy poma
Cons
  • Quickly gets boring
  • Zero scenery
