As with most of the resorts in La Plagne, the highest concentration of beginner zones are at village level (Montchavin village) although there are also novice skier and snowboarder areas located at the top of the Coches cable car and the Télébufette. There’s also a great beginner piste near the Ecureuils lift, reached via the Plan Bois chair or Lac Noir gondola – with restaurants handily situated nearby.
