The Plagne Bellecôte lift Belle Plagne is a magic carpet lift located just above and a little right of the main village of Belle Plagne. It accesses a small learning zone, perfect for La Plagne beginners but can also be used as a convenient way to reach the Col de Forcle poma – midway between Belle Plagne and Plagne Bellecôte. Taking this lift can be a huge timesaver, depending on where you want to go. Certainly, it can save riding all the way down to the Bellecôte hub of lifts where queues are always much longer.

For beginners, the novice zone is conveniently close to the main village, making pitstops or getting home easier – or to take in a bit of La Plagne apres ski when the day is done. Also, magic carpets are universally acknowledged as the easiest type of lift – making this the perfect place to learn.

Pros
  • Covered and warm
  • Located very close to Belle Plagne
  • Accesses good beginner area
  • Can be used to get to Col de Forcle
Cons
  • Magic carpets not for everyone
